IADC and IWCF Accredited Well Control

Course Overview

The Well Control Certification courses address the basic principles and theory of well control along with the most commonly used well control techniques. These courses are specifically directed to all personnel working with or, on Surface Stack and Offshore Subsea Operations. As such, it is well suited for all personnel from Derrickman to Supervisor level.

Course Certificate

An IADC WellCAP Certificate or an IWCF Certificate will be issued on successful completion of the training course and is valid for 2 years from date of issue.

Course Description

This training will complement and assist your in-house training so rig personnel can achieve the performance necessary to do their job duties and responsibilities, as such this training is specifically for all drilling, production and workover personnel, who are involved in day to day wellsite operations.

Well Kick and Control situations are covered in a practical and understandable manner. This course deals with understanding the Pre-planning, Organisation, Recognition and Response Actions necessary in controlling the well. Drilling practices and its effects on down-hole are presented in a straight forward and easy to understand manner.
